AKC Conformation Shows
This is probably the most popular canine sport activity among Swissy owners. The goal is to obtain the champion (Ch.) title but dog shows are also great for meeting other Swissy fanciers. And the social aspect of these events is often just as important as the show itself!

AKC Junior Showmanship:  
This activity is for young people between 10 and 18 years. The goal is for youngster to learn and show their skills as dog handlers, i.e. it is the handler, not the dog that is judged. Neither breed nor size of dog is relevant. The competition is divided according to different age and skill levels. JS competitions are held in conjunction with regular AKC conformation shows.
